The Peninsula Youth Soccer Club (PYSC) was founded in 1992 to promote competitive youth soccer in Foster City and surrounding communities. The club currently consists of thirty six boys' and girls' teams playing in age divisions, ranging from U8 to U18. Our Club is focused on providing a positive soccer experience for your child through professional coaching and matching player skill with the right level of play. Our Club is recognized and complies with the authority the California Youth Soccer Association – North (CYSA-N). CYSA- North is a state association in Region IV of the United States Youth Soccer Association (USYSA). USYSA is a member of the United States Soccer Federation (USSF), and it worldwide sanctioning body FIFA. Within CYSA – North we are in district 2 which serves families in San Mateo, Santa Clara, Santa Cruz, San Benito and Monterey Counties. Today, our teams participate in the California Coast Soccer League and NorCal Premier Soccer League.
The Peninsula Youth Soccer Club is made up of a diverse group of passionate men and women who love soccer and who collectively bring a broad and rich wealth of experience from building winning teams and preparing young boys and girls for their future - both on and off the field. Our main objective is to provide players with a learning environment where they improve their soccer skills, push them to their highest competitive level, have fun, and grow as individuals.
Teams are firming up their rosters now for Fall'13 season. In particular the Thunder is having open tryouts for girls born after 7/31/2000. Contact the team managers if you're interested in other teams.

Numerous discussions have occurred over the last few months among clubs in the Peninsula area. In those discussions, we found that we have very similar missions, core tenets and vision for the future of soccer on the Peninsula.
With these shared values, three clubs have decided to pursue a Joint Operating Agreement. The three local clubs are Peninsula Youth Soccer Club (PYSC), San Carlos United Soccer Club (SCUSC) and Belmont United Soccer Club (BUSC). Our proposed new organization would be named the Peninsula United Soccer Club (PUSC).
We are excited about the future and are moving forward to roll this out in the Fall of 2013.
This collaboration will also significantly improve the quality of our coaching and programs that we can offer to our members. We will offer greater instructional opportunity for our players, drive our coaches toward a consistent curriculum and provide appropriate playing levels for all of our members.
